Service
- Style 1555 contains a special solid lubricant to prevent wicking, reducing the coefficient of friction to practically zero (will not fray).
- The material effectively dissipates heat, keeping the stuffing box cool, allowing higher shaft speeds and permitting lower leak-off.
Typical Applications
This severe service packing can be effectively applied on all rotating/reciprocating shafts, valves and agitators. Especially effective in digestors and chemical pumps.
