Service
PE1082 is a breakthrough in slurry packing. Traditional yellow aramid is very strong, but has a tendency to score and polish the shaft. PE1082 combines ePTFE/Graphite and Palmetto Zenar™ with a break-in lubricant to offer a durable packing that is easier on the shaft.
- For high pressure slurry applications, PE1082 with end rings of PE1000 will prevent packing extrusion
- In light slurry applications, PE1082 with middle rings of Palmetto 1382 or 1389 GFO® is ideal
- Works well in abrasive/slurry applications such as mining dredging, asphalt, wastewater sludge, etc.
Palmetto PE1082 is available in square cross-section sizes from 1/8" to 1".
